Capeta City (Japanese: ハニーツシティHanītsu City) is a city in southwest Rinto. It is located between Route 3 and Route 4, and connects to Acre Park in the north. It is home to the first gym that the player will encounter on their journey, led by Beatrice who specializes in Bug-type Pokémon.
Capeta City is very rural, and is the smallest of all the cities in Rinto. It is home to a lot of farmland where berries are grown and Egen are kept to produce eggs. Most of the houses resemble barns and have large, open areas around them.
Capeta city is surrounded by trees, and contains many large patches of flowers. The city's soil is the most fertile in the entire region, which is why the majority of its land is used for agriculture. The eastern half of the city is relatively flat, and contains a few houses with large open spaces for farming. The western side of the city is much more rugged than the east, and is also home to a small pond and more compact housing.
The Capeta City Hall is where the Mayor of Capeta City lives, and where the majority of the political decisions for the city take place. It's jurisdiction also encompasses Minton Town, Aldew Town, and their surrounding areas. It is a large, old building located just north of the city center, and has two floors. The bottom floor is open to the public, and has many displays detailing the history of the city. The top floor is off limits to the general public, and is where the mayor's office is located. It is also where the Bug Statuette when it isn't in the possession of a Bug-Catching Contest winner.
During the CrisalitSr/LarveilSs swarm, a group of Team Silva grunts manage to successfully steal the Bug Statuette from the City Hall, escaping to Capeta Forest to the west. After the player manages to recover it, they must return it the mayor who rewards them with HM01 (Cut). From then on, the player has full access to the whole building, and is able to speak to the mayor whenever they like.
