Despite being a forest, Minton Grove is small and has a straightforward layout. It contains no tall grass and is described by locals as being a natural gate, as most of the people who visit it only do so to pass through. The land on which it lies is flat and fertile, with a few patches of soft soil, which are capable of housing berry trees, lying in the north of the area, and a pond, which can only be crossed while wearing a swimsuit, lying in the south. It is home to very few wild Pokémon, and as a result, it is very rarely visited by Pokémon trainers.
Like most other areas in south and east Rinto, Minton Grove has a temperate climate. There is a chance of rain in all four seasons, with slight chances of heavy rain in spring and autumn, falling leaves in autumn, hail in autumn and winter, and snow in winter. Due to the cover of trees, it is not significantly affected by clouds, sunlight, or wind.
